Not bad...I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak... Not sure if it was premade chicken patties but was expecting something more homemade for a family restaurant... I'll take back if it was homemade... They have a great selection of desserts including ice cream, pies... Would come again and try something else and review again...

I have been to this place many times. always got mild wings. used to be great. not this time, they tasted like parmesean cheese, which is all I tasted. They said they always made them like that, sorry but mild sauce is always red. This was off white. Also they were breaded which they never were before. they went from a 9 to 2 in my score book. Also very expensive. may not be back.

I had the hickory burger and it was slammin' good. They have reasonable prices. It's way better than fast food to eat.

Great place for a good meal at a fair price. Be sure to get some ice cream while your here too!

Very good salad bar & lobster bisque soup. His cheese steak was very good. Great service very friendly waitresses.

The Crab Cakes are dynamite they have no fillers. I had the Scallops tonight and they were so delicious❣ Wait staff is very nice.Great Ice Cream too.

I can only eat ice cream right now because of a physical ailment. I Went this morning to grab a bowl to go and they didn’t have the soft serve ice cream machine ready. Fine. No problem. My dad went later on behalf of me and he asked if the soft serve was ready and the server rudely said “Well, I don’t remember you being here earlier.” And when he ordered the large vanilla soft serve in a bowl for me the ice cream didn’t even reach the top rim of the bowl. So, it was basically as much ice cream as an adult small except we paid for a large. Really disappointed in with the quality of the service and the inconsistency of the serving size. My father is a senior citizen and deserves to be treated with respect. Never going there again.

The menu is large, the food is good. I especially enjoy the breakfast sandwich which features a fried egg, sausage patty, and American cheese on a large Croissant. Most of their portions are generous. The waite staff is attentive. Kitchen is not always real fast but the food is worth the wait.

Good Food at Good Price

Been coming here for a few years, and the best thing here is you can get decent ice cream. The food? Breakfast is ok, but I would avoid eating any other thing here. The Starlight Diner is 15 minutes down rt.100. and is worlds better. What really takes the cake here is the service is horrid, last Sunday we decided to try it one more time for breakfast. They sat us-then forgot about us for 20 minutes, people who came in after us were getting served. Last time we will ever eat there, poor service and terrible food should be a death knell for any restaurant.

Great place to eat if passing through! I stopped in the gas station on the way to visit my son and had to fill up. I asked the lady if Katie's was any good and she said I like eating there, so I decided to give it a try considering I hadn't had anything to eat that day yet. The food is good along with the atmosphere!

While staying at the KOA my wife and I decided to go out for BKFST. This place (my wife chose LOL) was not a very good pick. I had the chipped beef gravy. First you had to use a microscope to find the beef, second it was just flour and water with no flavor at all and soggy toast, no biscuits. I can't wast time on the rest but skip this place trust me.

First time there. Generous portions. I brought half my meal home. Soft ice cream is delicious!! Yum. Will be going again.

Stopped for breakfast, staff was very good, food was ok.... sausage had a funky flavor not something I will order there again. Eggs were perfect.

Thought we'd give it another try Was just there this morning. while sitting waiting for service couple sat themselves and family came in of four they waited on them and we were still sitting with not even a glass of water or coffee poor service . won't be going back

They overcharged me for 2 ice cream cones I paid 17.16 for 2 ice cream

Good food and fast friendly service

Stop in for ice cream melted and fell off cone before I got the car. Person that took order could not get 3 items correct charged me for 2 had to argue with owner because of $2.12 because of incompetent employees maybe he should realize customers are always right but then again that $2.12 may not have made him get his Mercedes payment this month do not recommend this to anyone go somewhere else you'll enjoy it more

You can't beat good diner food and Katie's is good. Very friendly and attentive staff and basic good food. My wife couldn't finish her more than ample burger, and I was happy with the quality coffee.

Food is always really good. Owner is present every time I've gone and service is really good.

Food took very long to come out when there was plenty of staff out and about and barely any customers. Nobody bothered to check for drink refills for a very long time despite the fact we were sitting right in the walkway. I would have given a single star instead if it wasn't for the prices being pretty cheap.

As all said before me, you get very friendly, local service. Large portions for the moderately priced meals. Leiby's ice cream (a coal region favorite) is also available.

Katie's is a friendly restaurant. Senior menu was $8 for an appropriate serving of panko fish, very tasty home recipe baked beans ,and not overcooked broccoli. My husband had fried chicken and French fries and a cup of soup and the chicken was crispy and juicy. Reasonable prices.
